Michelle Tamblyn is a 200 hour RYT in Hatha Yoga. She completed her training at Anuttara Yoga Shala in Deerfield Beach (where she also teaches) as well as at Something Yoga in Boca Raton. During the healing circle, Elizabeth will be working with the group to open and balance our chakras with emphasis on the sacred heart chakra, our access to the Love that heals and creates all. The circle will consist of 1) an awareness exercise to allow the wisdom of our bodies to reveal an aspect of the subconscious that is limiting the manifestation of our intentions and desires, 2) a teaching based on what is revealed as related to the chakras and 3) a corresponding healing and creative meditation to release the limitation and forward manifestation.
While there is an amplification affect that facilitates more rapid progress in a group setting, it is also encouraged that one uses these practices at home as part of overall self care.
Rev. Elizabeth is a certified practitioner of Soul Focused Healing, a scientific and advanced form of chakra energy healing that facilitates health and well being on all levels: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. During a healing session, the causes of chronic patterning are revealed allowing Elizabeth to facilitate the restoration of balanced flow to the affected chakras and related energy pathways.

A time for personal renewal, the evening includes a brief time for meditation for introspection and heart reflections. Come as early as 6:30 and enter in silence.
There will be an inspiring commentary and enlivening discussion in exploration of subjects relative to living and flourishing in the spiritual life. Currently Rev. Charles is reviewing ideas from Deepak Chopra’s The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success.
There will always be time for questions and personal prayer requests.

This evolving Reiki Circle is a new beginning at Bridges of Wellness and is hosted by Reiki Master Rev. Megan O’Connor, assisted by other certified practitioners.
Reiki is an ancient hands-on healing art that uses divine energy to manage and heal on the physical, emotional and spiritual levels. This gentle method taps into subtle life energies, bringing balance and allowing for rejuvenation, relaxation, and healing. Megan strives to educate and empower attendees on their own innate healing abilities and how to use them on a daily basis.
Classes and certification for Reiki Practitioner Levels 1, 2 and Masters will begin in 2012.

Award-winning and thought-provoking short films (documentaries, animations, etc.). These films get little time during the primetime award shows, their red carpet ride happens the night before. Sadly, most of us never see any of them as there are few major outlets for short films. They are some of the best work of filmmakers around the world. They are to film what the best of The New Yorker short stories is to a 600 page novella.
These cinema nights are moderated by Lynne Thorner, professor of Film as Literature at BCC. She selects from her vast library those films which are likely to engage the spiritual explorer. The films, usually about 30 minutes, are followed by quite lively discussions of both film technique and timeless moral and spiritual themes. As well as an open exchange of insights about being fully human. How great is that?!
